Want to know the nitty gritty...?
* Lower Onion Creek Campsite is about 3 hours from Glenwood Springs (22 miles northeast of Moab, UT), but only minutes from the amazing hiking, biking, and site-seeing!
* This is a remote riverside camping environment. Pit toilets are present at each site. No trash pickup is available. Please plan to pack out your trash/recycling when you leave.
* THERE IS NO RUNNING/POTABLE WATER AT CAMPGROUND. EACH FAMILY/GROUP IS RESPONSIBLE FOR BRINGING 1 GALLON OF WATER PER PERSON PER DAY.
*Be prepared for ALL kinds of weather, from MILD to WILD, from WARM to STORM! Checking the forecast is advised before departure.
* What is there to do in Moab? Whether you sit around and soak up the sun, explore the National Park Visitor Center, or spend your days on hiking, rafting, & climbing adventures, you'll be sure to enjoy both the environment as well as the fellowship of friends. See the NPS website for Arches and Canyonlands details.
